Social Video Marketing Example
Young Scholars Program, California
Typically, longer social media videos are the norm, but with shorter and shorter attention spans online, and information overload, sometimes you should consider using a series of short videos communicating single facts when posting on social media. This has been useful for some of the nonprofits we work with, including this Young Scholars Program example.
The short social video is designed to supplement a paragraph with more detailed information related to the mission and vision of the program. We used this (along with a link to their website) to accompany this post on Instagram & Facebook:
We envision a world where equity and inclusion exist for Young Men of Color in their quest to become educated leaders in the global world. The Young Scholars Program will lead the Educational Movement to increase Young Men of Color’s access, retention and persistence in Higher Education.
Our client loves this social media video marketing idea, so this will be the first in a series of 8 or so statistics about the program’s educational success. What do you think? Leave a comment below.
